Mother’s Day Weekend Sound Activation with Brandon Burns – Friday May 12th at 7 pm

Come together, explore and receive within the holding environment that is offered through Brandon Burns, shamanic sound explorer and yogi. Offering this prayer-meditation as an instrument of Source, he shares an empowering experience of Sacred Sound vibration that invites us deeper into intimacy with our direct embodied experience. Through this heartsong, seeds of awakening are sown as we allow a profound inner journey to unfold, an experience of our personal power, our aliveness and connection to All is invited to alight upon us.

An atmosphere of Sounds and Silence will be woven with gentle guided meditation, singing, drums, rattles, didgeridoo, flute, brass and crystal singing bowls and more…. all emanating creatively with the intention to invite a direct experience of Presence, of Oneness, of Self Love and wholeness within kindness for the full spectrum of our expression. The prayer-transmission is offered for the activation of the awareness of our subtle Nature, awakening the dormant potential within our cellular consciousness.

***Please bring plenty of laying support to ensure your total relaxation during the experience, such as a yoga mat, blanket, bolster (a rolled up blanket or pillow works fine), and small pillow or folded blanket for head and neck support. Water, a notebook to record your experience and insights, any sacred objects, crystals, etc are all encouraged.

All are welcome, come as you are- no experience necessary; only a willingness to receive.

Calm Kids session for 10-13 yr olds Begins April 1st through May 20th

If your child struggles with anxiety or emotional regulation, this is the help you’ve been waiting for! In this 8 week program your child will learn about the anatomy of the fight or flight response and how to become the “boss of his or her brain”. We will incorporate techniques of Mindfulness, Breathing, Yoga, Food choices and more.

Annxiety has become epidemic in the US, 1 in 8 kids are affected, many of whom are dealing with other issues as well.

This series is appropriate for 10-13 yr olds.

One parent must be present for the first class, after that it’s optional.

Classes will be held on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am on the following dates;

April 1 The Science of Mindfulness – Brain and Breath

April 8 Problematic Emotional States – Physical Effects of Stress

April 15 Reduce Multi-tasking – Attention to Details

April 22 Find the Calm Around you – Mindful Eating

April 29 Listening Mindfully – Hearing vs. Listening

May 6 Working with Distractions – Annoying Noises

May 13 Manage School Stress – Be a Mindful Student

May 20 Re-Cap, Breath review, Body Scan
